CONTAINERSHIPS ADDS PORI TO ITS SHORTSEA NETWORK

Containerships is pleased to announce that the Finnish port of Pori will be added to the company’s shortsea network as from March 2012.

The new service will consist of a weekly sailing from Pori to Sodertalje, Klaipeda, Teesport, Sheerness and Ghent with further connections to Rotterdam, Ireland and St. Petersburg via transhipment. Imports from Iberia, Ireland, Russia, Benelux and the UK will also be accommodated through this new service.

The first call in Pori will be served by M.V. Containerships VII on Thursday 01st of March.

The new Pori service aims at consolidating Containerships’ leading position on the Finnish market and as always Containerships will offer a full range of service including door to door transport served by a wide range of container types and sizes including 20’DV and pallet wide, 40’ and 45’ high-cube pallet wide as well as reefer containers.
